If there was any doubt that Idris Elba was being groomed to be the next James Bond, here is the proof. Now that Daniel Craig has openly stated he is done with playing James Bond, the un-official search for a suave gentleman secret agent has started, and for many film fans the answer is pretty clear.
If you ask most women( including the women in my family) who is on their 007 list, Idris Elba is usually somewhere at the top. However with any new Bond replacement there has to be a warm up period first. Due to the fact that Bond is such an iconic character, studio execs understand that not only do they have to find the right character, but the audience has to believe that the actor can be the character, and that usually requires having to see the actor in a similar role….
